Stephen L. Furnace was born July 19, 1949 in Massena, NY to Lee Furnace and Ruby Puterbaugh. He passed away July 12, 2013 at his home in Hinton, OK at the age of 63. Stephen graduated from Starpoint School. He worked for Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY. He married Shirley Seymour on March 17, 1982 in Houston, TX. Stephen moved to the Hinton area in 1982. Stephen was a diesel mechanic for J&W and POI in Binger, Crabtree’s convenient store, England Ford and Wheeler Chevrolet. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and wrestling. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Wife; Shirley Furnace of the home in Hinton, OK, 2 daughters; Sandra Salvagina of Lockport, NY, and Tammie Cooper of Gasport, NY, 2 step-daughters; Cindy Boyle of Bativia, NY and Karen Flick of Gasport, NY, Eight grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren, mother; Ruby Bullock of Wilson, NY and sister; Cheryl Wilkins of Wilson, NY. Stephen was preceded in death by his father.
