Stepping out on thin ice here but I feel this needs to be said. Sorry if I step on any toes. Deep breath...here goes: In light of the Christmas shopping season...here are a few things to remember. 1. Please be ethical, aka HONEST, when you are shopping. 2. Please do NOT take advantage of the cashiers or play them against their co-workers/managers. 3.If the ad says limit 2 per customer, the limit is 2...not 3 or 4 or 5. 4. Please be polite and refrain from talking on your phone while checking out. 5. Please have your money, aka dollar bills, and/or coupons in some order of neat, not all wadded up. 6. Please be considerate of customers in line behind you. 7. Remember that your cashier is human and will not have the whole ad memorized. Trust me when I say that your cashiers will love/appreciate it if you do these things! These are just a few little ways to make your shopping experience more pleasant. I have been a cashier in many retail settings for more than 30 years. I love what I do. I enjoy taking with my customers and getting to know them. I DO care! I want all of my customers to leave feeling happy with their shopping experience and to be return customers. Many of you on this board I have waited on, some in more than one Alabaster business. I hope you have all had a Happy Thanksgiving and your tummies are full. Merry Christmas!
