Stepping up on soap box - One year ago I picked up a brand new car. With down payment and 12 months of payments we put $6,000 into that car. Now that car is totaled because of someone elses negligence. Loan will be paid off by insurance but I will have nothing for a down payment on another car. We take care of our vehicles; regular maintenance, park away from most vehicles so people wouldnt open their doors on mine, etc. We have to start all over AGAIN! It just seems so unfair! Why do we have to pay for someone elses stupidity? They shouldnt even be called accidents. They should be called stupidents! - one foot off soap box. Lord help me forgive this person that caused all this and help me to never be the cause of a stupident. - both feet back on ground. sigh
