Steps towards change: 1.REPENT AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS Repent,ask God to forgive you,some of us really,I mean REALLY want,but cant do,what they fail to realize,that before change,there must come repentance,that is the first step,now,if youve already done this,move on to step 2,but,I suggest you keep reading and do this,because some of us are unsure,if God has already forgiven them,or has he/she has truly repented,if you are unsure,then,kneel,close your eyes and pray to God(this is not only for the unsure but also for those who want change):Lord!O My Lord!please!forgive me!remove this unsure feeling in my heart!remove the chains of sin upon me!please show me the Way!this I pray to you,in the mighty and glorious name of the Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ,Amen. 2.BELIEVE AND ASK GOD Change is the one thing new believers and followers want most,what we fail to see is that,God is the only One who can bring us change,in our lives and in us,just ask Him to,ask Him to change you,at our school that is one of our basic prayers,include unto your prayer to Him:Please make me a child You want me to beand believe that,God will change you,just let Him bring change into your heart and He will. 3.BE WITH GOD Always be with God,walk with Him always,look to Him in all your ways,and ask what you should do upon every decision you make. 4.BRING JESUS INTO YOUR HEART Bring Jesus into your heart,open up and let Him in,and dont just let Him in,let Him sit upon the throne of your heart and rule.How do I do this? read step five. 5.READ THE WORD OF GOD This is the one of the simplest things we must do,read His Word,meditate upon It,and It will be a lamp unto your feet and a light to your path.This is what will change you the most. 6.APPLY THE WORD Apply it,share it,and let the Holy Spirit dwell within you,the bible basically means: B-asic I-nstructions B-efore L-eaving E-arth and yes,I did get that from the internet,but more importantly,it is true,the bible is filled with stories,lessons and prophecies,if you think that the bibles words was the from the people who wrote the different books in it,your wrong,these may have been written by people,but,they were inspired by God and it is His Words they write,everything we need to know about God,Jesus,the Holy Spirit,and the people who wrote this,is within the bible,so start reading it,start from John if youre going to start your devotion unto God,and the bible is one of the ways,God speaks to us,so if you want answers from God,read the bible. 7.DO HIS WILL Do His will,share His word,win souls!gain disciples!and I assure you,God will be pleased with you. 8.GIVE THANKS TO HIM Thank Him,for it is through Him that change has been brought upon you.Thank you Lord!Amen! -please share :) and may the grace of God be with you always
