Steve Harvey told Oprah that hes worth $32 million dollars, but when each of his kids gets grown, he pays their rent up for six months and then gives them $3,000 in cash and theyre on their own. I realize that kids have to learn to fend for themselves, but for me there is no POINT in having $32,000,000.00 and not share it with my children. I just dont get it. Youre going to college - on my dime. Youre going to work - even if its FOR me. Youre going to learn how to MANAGE your money and youre going to learn how to make it work for you courtesy of a financial planner provided by me... but youre going to be a millionaire by default. Even if I only give you one of those 32 milli - my children would live like they have a father who is a millionaire. WHAT can you do with $32,000,000.00?!?! I get complete JOY out of giving to mine. Im sorry. Why is it when OTHER wealthy people take care of their children we call them heirs, and socialites, but when we take care of OUR children, theyre called spoiled, useless, and triflin? When I get put on - JOEY is put on. You dont have to agree. It just is.
