CONGRESSMAN PEARCE VOTES AGAINST WORKING MEN AND WOMEN: The House has rejected an amendment sponsored by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, to the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act (HR 2216). The amendment would have barred funding in the bill for measures to adopt prevailing wage requirements for contractors working on government construction projects. Steve Pearce insists "he supports Immigration Reform and wishes to help our immigrant workers". That too is bull shit. He even wants victims of crime to be prevented from reporting that crime, and wants to deport DREAMERS brought here as young children. CONGRESSMAN PEARCE VOTED TO DEPORT AN ESTIMATED 800,000 DREAM ACT ELIGIBLE YOUNG PEOPLE: On June 6, 2013 Congressman Pearce voted for an amendment to the 2014 Homeland Security appropriations bill that would prohibit the use of Immigration and Customs Enforcement funds to implement President Obama’s June 2012 order that protects the “DREAMers” from deportation—those estimated 800,000 young undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children and have since led law-abiding lives. I am sick of the total lack of consideration for the Poor, The Workers, The Immigrants given by Representative Steve Pearce. I believe him to be one of the worst Congressmen in office.
