Steve Ross doesnt understand football culture at all. First he hires a GM and doesnt allow him to pick his guy at head coach which is just bad management. Then, after a third year of missing the playoffs for Philbin, he announces his job is safe. If I didnt accomplish the same, attainable goal at my job for 3 consecutive years, i sure as hell would be let go LOL. Now weve set up Philbin for a mid season firing next year, where we put an interim in and again waste yet another season instead of giving a new hire an entire offseason. If its all about keeping Lazors offense and not having tannehill learn another offense, then promote Lazor if its that important. But this is not the way to do it. And for all the people on Tannehills nuts today - 3 years no playoffs. I dont give a shit about 400 yards and 4 TDs in December at home against Minnesota in week 16 when playoffs are off the line. I care about wins and losses, and this is gonna be the 6th straight year with out playoffs and 8th year this decade. Thats not ok lol and of course it falls on the entire franchise but as a result the franchise QB has to wear some of that he just has to.
