Steve Rutledge, of Luke 19-10 Ministries, has this to say about that leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi: (1) I suggest that we pray that the Lord will save Him through the grace of Jesus Christ. Does that shock you? Have you not heard of the zealous Saul of Tarsus who was on the Road to Damascus to persecute Christians when the Lord knocked him off his camel and blinded him with a heavenly light, which resulted in his salvation and great missionary service in Jesus’ Name? That is certainly my preference – that he become a Christian and turn from his evil ways. (2) I suggest that we also pray that if the salvation of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi does not happen, that the Lord restrain him, frustrate his evil plans, and defeat his army. (3) I suggest that we also pray that if al-Baghdadi is not saved, or largely restrained, that the Lord remove him from the earth by taking his life from him. God can take his life from him more easily than any special ops can do it.
