Steve Slegowski has numerous years under his belt serving as a Meals On Wheels volunteer for the Berks Encore-Birdsboro Center as well as other organizations. Steve is always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether its preparing and packing meals or delivering a route, his versatile nature and kind heart make him a wonderful volunteer. Because of his dedication, he - with the help of Patty Barker, center manager - was able to help Barbara Ciabattoni, Meals On Wheels client, enjoy one more year of birthdays, holidays and time with loved ones. He is a true hero!
