Steve Waltho... Dudleys Deputy Mayor, is completely ignoring public sentiment by backing plans for the controversial new mosque which the vast majority of Dudley residents are completely opposed to. Isnt this the very antithesis of democracy??? Anybody else think he is being somehow influenced by Shaukat Ali and Safeena Arshad? Cant help thinking there could be a conflict of interest here... A ward with a majority of muslim councillors representing a minority of muslim residents that are making recommendations to push through proposals for a muslim community centre / mosque? Looking at the track record of corruption, this really should be looked at....
