Stevie Ray Vaughan October 3, 1954 – August 27, 1990 - I took the passing of Stevie Ray Vaughan as hard as any of my musical idols. His playing and singing was always on such a deep level. Musicians of all stripes were affected and influenced by his artistry. Yesterday marked the death of his passing, and I remember clearly where I was when I heard the news on the radio and how shattered I felt.
