Stick-to-it-iveness If you are going to succeed, then you HAVE to have this! Too many talented people with great visions fail simply because they lose focus, patience and zeal along the way. The mark of every successful person who I have ever come across is an unwavering devotion to the goal. No Matter What... Rain or Shine... Through triumphs and would-be failures... They persevere and prevail! Do YOU have stick-to-it-iveness? Or are you listed among the majority of people who do things like this: 1. Put a timeline on success? - These people tell themselves If this doesnt happen by then I am going to do something else. These people are your classic quitters! 2. Put a cost on success? - These people allocate a limited amount of resources to goals that have limitless possibilities or benefits. These people are borderline insane! 3. Chronic planning? - These people are waiting (and waiting) for all of the possible contingencies to be put in place for every conceivable issue that may arise. This results in never actually doing anything that works toward actually moving forward (beyond more planning). These people fool themselves by completing facade-ish tasks like building a website, creating business cards, assembling a team of resources, leasing an office space, etc. They take a tiny little step, then halt and plan some more! These people are as afraid of success as they are of failure! People constantly ask me how I have become so successful (whatever that means to them). They even ask me to teach them so that they can do something similar. But here is the issue.... Can you even CONCEIVE building something for 20 years?? Because that is how long it took me to launch my primary endeavor (almost to the day)! If starting today and possibly launching 20 years from now intimidates you then dont (ever) ask me for advice! Im not your guy! #quitting aint a good look! ...and you might be horrified at what I label as quitting!!! o.O
