Still.... THIS is the best steak recipe I know: Steak Put steaks out and get to room temp. Cover steaks with olive oil and Kosher salt. Preheat oven to 500 with cast iron skillet inside oven. Turn burner up to highest temp. Pull skillet out of on & onto burner. Put steaks in skillet, sear for 30 seconds, flip and sear other side 30 seconds. Put in oven, cook 2 minutes, flip and cook other side for 2minutes. Pull out, let rest on plate, under tin foil, for 5 minute Serve with a nice Cab or Zin or Syrah.
