Still a little squinty but with everything healing very nicely, our little love Alvin finally condescended to sit still and face the camera. Ok, thats a fib. The kitten disdains me and adores my husband, so Mike plunked him into my lap this morning. Once we did a little cuddling and belly rubs Mr. Alvin purred himself into a full rumble, and I can only figure that he, in true cat fashion, went with the moment and forgot who he was sitting with. Alvin is all set to go home as a foster-to-adopt with his new mommy on Tuesday, now that she has recovered from the flu. They have been waiting for each other since the day he arrived at the shelter and she first saw him here on our page! Alvin has to be foster-to-adopt for a couple of months because his neutering status is up in the air. We cant tell if he was previously fixed or is just closely guarding the family jewels, so we have to wait until hes a bit older and the vet can hopefully let us know. In the meantime, he and his mom can get to know each other and finalize his adoption post-neuter, or post neuter determination.
