Still at the hospital with Kirk. New scan revealed an additional clot (in his other leg) since hospital admission, while taking blood thinner med. for 9 days. Last night we met with a vascular surgeon and a hematologist (both very thorough and both having differing opinions as to treatment). An additional blood thinning medication has been added and a bucket full of blood tests were performed last night. Both specialists meet this morning for a plan of action. Until then, nothing by mouth in case an IVC procedure needs to be performed this morning. Thanks everyone for your support and prayers.
