Still in Council and we have just passed some help for the City Mission to get some additional transitional units under way . We have been working on this for a couple of months .Govt is funding a lot of the capital . Old City Mission building was not being used - so it will be brought up to a condition where it can be used for transitional housing and there will be help for the families who are there to find further long term accommodation . I think this is a really good example of the community , the Council and the Govt working together on one of the biggest issues we face here in Chch
