Still in the subject of "Red Flags" - here is one that sometimes goes unnoticed initially as it is wrapped in the mask of having high morals and "old school" values. First off truly respectful people do not usually demand respect - they are generally too busy being respectful. If your new guy throws this word around it warrants a raised eyebrow and some observation on your part. Does he demand respect but seem to give very little? A person preoccupied with receiving/demanding respect is generally a very disrespectful person. A double standard at best. Be sure his demand of respect wrapped in the guise of high morals and character does not go unnoticed for what it really is - a character flaw.
