Bylaws of LP Convention motion The California Conventions Act of 2015 Makers of motion: Mark Herd and (whoever helps me kink it and pass it) Whereas: Having meetings regularly and locally helps meeting participation and party growth. Whereas: Knowing years in advance the dates and locations of such meetings promotes meeting participation and party growth. Whereas: Moving meetings around and giving very short notice helps decline meeting participation and party progress. Whereas: Growing the party is a goal of the Libertarian party. Whereas: Shrinking the party is in direct conflict with the interests of the Libertarian party. Therefore the CALP moves to adopt the following bylaw amendment. 1. All Annual meetings shall be held in the State of California 2. All Annual meetings shall alternate locations, one year in Northern California, the next year in Southern California 3. 3 locations shall be chosen in the Southern California region. 4. 3 locations shall be chosen in the Northern California regions. 5. The locations in each region will rotate. For example, if Northern California picks SAC, SF and San Jose. and Southern California picks San Diego, Los Angeles and Riverside. The future convention schedule would be as follows: 2016 San Diego 2017 Sacramento 2018 Los Angeles 2019 San Francisco and so on.
