Still love this album. Its twenty years old!! Older than my students! It reminds me of the first time I heard it, down at Treyarnon Bay caravan site, with a group of friends - the only time Ive ever really felt like I wasnt an outcast (2 (3) of them have disappeared). I remember 4th of July floating my boat like nothing before. After that, I lost touch pretty much with those guys, then regained it, but it was never what it would have been had I done all the crazy shit over the years with them. Now Ive pretty much lost touch again. Ive met some awesome people since coming to China, eight years ago now, but the friendship groups dismantle in the ESL teaching world much faster than in the at home lifestyle. Change is good, but too much in the wrong area, is probably not. Really missing home in many ways now. Folks, flora and fauna (but not weather!)
