Still no public statements from the Concord Community Schools - TopicsExpress

Still no public statements from the Concord Community Schools regarding the biology teacher who was informing his students that evolution (and by extension, science) is a lie, that the Earth is 6000 years old, and that all life on the planet was propagated from a single family with a bunch of animals on a boat (including dinosaurs). No, I am not making this up. All I want to know is... Why stop there? Why not question everything? The idea that the Earth revolves around the sun was ruled in 1615 to be contrary to scripture. After all, heliocentrism is just a theory. Lets teach both sides and let the kids decide. The moon landing? Faked. Part of the same conspiracy that claims consensus that the Earth is billions of years old. Carbon dating? A sham. So what if we form theories based upon decades of research, testing and peer review? We should give just as much weight to theories that are pulled out of someones ass... or, for example, theories that are based upon nothing more than the pious writings of an ancient culture and are inviolable under any circumstances. I demand that the Concord Community School System immediately begin teaching the theory that the Earth is flat as an alternative to the conspiracy-driven round Earth hypothesis of the insular scientific community. We must hear both sides! Somewhere out there is a cosmic turtle carrying the flat Earth on his back, and he should be properly recognized. And dont give me those ridiculous questions about whats underneath the turtle. Its turtles all the way down, you dumbass. #TeachTheControversy
