Still none of our own water at the VanDalens. Water line to the house is still frozen. Maybe by the end of the week. Yesterday alone ten additional homes got the same problem we have. Now we have a major water main break down the street - water gushing like a geyser. So no water altogether until late afternoon. I am going to try to wash my hair like rough camping from a pail. Jokingly, a friend said the other day, Youd think homes in this nice neighborhood would have running water. It makes me appreciate what Mom and Dads everyday life was like when they lived in temporary housing during the housing shortage after the war with three little babies and no running water.
