Still upsetting, but its all I can do -- filed my in-depth report to the FDA. Have spoken to the local (southern california) deputy director, he has walked me through the process on where to find the form(s) to fill out. Its been done. In extreme detail. Amazon has pulled the cat treat products and is in the process of pulling the dog treats by the same company. Vons and Ralphs are in the process of pulling products, I am sure it will take some time. At least thats what corporate told me. I will be following up with them in a few days to see what is happening... A couple of the online stores I contacted have pulled product. The rest I am waiting to hear back from (left voicemails). If they dont call me back still today, I will call them tomorrow. I am sure its just that their busy. With a little luck the FDA will put out a nation wide recall. That will be the best I can hope for. Again this just underlined for me something I already knew. Just stick with the products that are tried and true. You cant always see (cause I missed it) that the item is from China. They are sneaky on hiding that. In my case, it cost me my kitties life. Its just not worth it. Stay with the foods/treats you know. its going to take me a while to calm down about this. I was just started to accept Aras death. This stirred me up again in a big way.
