Still waiting for the final announcement but received this today. To all Runners World Cover Contest entrants: Thank you for sharing your incredible stories with us and engaging your family and friends in the process. Through your social followings, many stories spread and inspired others beyond your immediate circle. Some entrants garnered attention in local media, engaging and galvanizing entire towns. The incredible power of the running community is a wonderful thing. Your photos and personal essays were so inspiring, the editors had a difficult time honing the 2,341 entries down to just 10 finalists. We want to confirm that all the finalists have been contacted and interviewed. Now our judges have the nearly impossible job of choosing two winners. As Bart Yasso, our Chief Running Officer and judge, commented, There are no losers, but there has to be a winner. While only two runners will grace our December 2014 Readers Issue, Runners World plans to recognize the amazing stories of select runners.
