Still working on gathering everything needed for miss Maddy, sweet Apollo, and tiny little Autumn. Maddy has settled in pretty well, and definitely loves her cottage and yard. If I put her in one of the other yards for a little change of scenery, she does not appreciate that, and wants to go back to HER yard. She is very bouncy and playful, and loves to lounge in the sun. Apollo has made good friends with his clubhouse mate and big bro Reggie. When Reggie sleeps, Apollo lays in front of him and naps. He has the sweetest little face. Although he cant see or hear me very well, I still talk to him and wave at him. He knows he is loved and home. Autumn has made some baby step improvements over the last week. She still flattens to the ground when walking on a leash, but now at least walks on a leash! She would not go more than a few feet before. When she is out in her yard, she now comes over to the gate to sniff my fingers and give me a tiny lick. Up until yesterday she would glue herself to the back of her house, and refuse to come out. She wants to be close, but cant quite bring herself to be brave enough. Yet. I sit with her and hold her paw, and she immediately falls sound asleep. Now that I have actually seen her standing and moving around, I realize that she has crazy bunny back legs: her back legs are longer than her front. I cant wait to see if she hops like a bunny! All in all has been a good adapting period for all three. Look forward to more improvements with everyone, and seeing them settle in!
