Going through goods on vehicles before they enter the yard. Correctly signing of the receipt of goods that are delivered. Correctly allocating dispatched goods and checking that the goods match the document description provided. Overseeing the unloading of goods. Overseeing the loading of goods. Fiscally loading and unloading goods when required. Report faults or deviations if they appear. Control inventory levels. Daily stock taking Opening and allocating bins to all stock Marking Bins and stock in the yard . · Follow up on all ”SBOs” – ensure that these purchases are booked out as soon as possible. Investigate al “No-Stocks” – ensure “Book in – Book out stock Requesting new codes from Head Office and crating them on the system. Do spot checks on vehicles leaving the yard to ensure stock was loaded correctly . · Investigating and implementing ways of preventing the loss of stock. To familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures relevant to your work and abiding by them at all times.
