Stockholm syndrome I have always maintained that we need a shift of mentality in nyanza. For us to reclaim our position at the helm of education and development, for now many of our brothers have there eye leads shut. Shut with lack of knowledge for they fell from the path of seeking wisdom and knowledge and lay on the path of idol worship and hooliganism, yet they do not ask this question.. HOW CAN THE MOST INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN KENYA HAVE THE WORST DEVELOPMENT RECORD ? . When you force this question down their throats they start saying ooohh!! north eastern is not developed, oohh even coast is not, even some places in central are not developing, and i know that brain wash is taking lead. taking lead because they are able to console themselves by saying they are the only ones who are not developed .. The above scenario reminds me of my cousin, the boy was always pulling tail in class, and when questioned he always insisted that he was not alone , that some of his friends in the other classes to had had positions to pull tail .. number last and second last , the moral of this real life example is simple , you cannot compare failure with another failure it only makes you a bigger failure, but you can correct the failure by acknowledging the mistakes and correcting them. In one of my responses i noted with shame that many of my brothers and sisters from nyanza are suffering from Stockholm syndrome, this is a very peculiar problem , you see when you suffer from Stockholm syndrome you tend to love the person who has kidnapped you and held you prisoner for most of your life. ITS UNFORTUNATE BUT ITS TRUE .. brothers asayou mak buk, u chak somo kendo. jogi politicians mag nyanza tero wa marach .. nyaka gi kel development, accountability and democracy before gi ngiswa gik rally .
