Stoke are considering a £6million move for Tottenham left-back Danny Rose. The England Under-21 international spent last season on loan at Sunderland, where he was one of the club’s most consistent performers in a disappointing campaign when they only just avoided relegation. But Stoke manager Mark Hughes – who has replaced Tony Pulis at The Britannia – wants to bring in a left back and striker to reinforce the squad he has inherited .
