Stolarick & Company is proud to be supporting TRAVISMILLS.ORG. As a young soldier in the US ARMY, Travis lost a part of all 4 limbs fighting for OUR FREEDOM in Afghanistan. We are asking all of you to please visit TRAVISMILLS.ORG and read Travis story. Please share that here will be a special screening of the film Travis: A Soldiers Story at the Beverly Arts Center on Veteran’s Day. We felt compelled to do our small part to share the story of Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, a severely wounded veteran. Two years ago, he lost all four limbs while serving our country becoming the fourth of five surviving quadruple amputees from the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan. The Travis Mills website states: On April 10, 2012, life for the Mills family dramatically changed forever. A routine patrol in Afghanistan turned into the fight of SSG Travis Mills life when he was hit by an IED and lost portions of both arms and legs. Featuring powerful interviews and emotional reenactments from Travis, his wife, Kelsey, and his fellow soldiers, “Travis: a Soldiers Story” is an intimate look into the life of a wounded warrior and his remarkable recovery. Travis harrowing fight to overcome the physical barriers of being a quadruple amputee and be there for his wife and young daughter, Chloe, has inspired individuals across the country to persevere through lifes challenges and to - never give up. never quit.
