Stop Shoulding on yourself:- I remember Anthony Robbins saying this at a live event I attended a few years back. I agree with that mostly. He meant it in a way that instead of saying I should do this or that or I should have said/done this or the other we are to DECIDE to DO/say that which we realise now that we are capable of doing, or DONT- just decide and go. I agree with that 100%: either do the thing or dont, instead of shoulding on oneself (or others) about what we are supposed to do, and not doing it anyway! The main point that I would like to add on to what Tony said, is where I see the word SHOULD most applicable. That is when we come to the conscious realisation that WE CAN DO BETTER, THEN WE ABSOLUTELY SHOULD DO BETTER. For that knowing that there is a better way to do/say/act while still doing/acting in the same old way that doesnt match with our new awareness, will create incongruence in our mind, disharmony in our behaviour and a mess in the results we are getting. It is a painful (emotionally) process to go through, being in such conflict about what you are doing yet knowing that you Should be doing something else. Lets decide and GO DO BETTER NOW. Real personal leaders dont just stop there, they constantly look out for higher awareness and seek out ways to expand their consciousness actively, so they have more Better to decide to act upon. They dont wait until that realisation hits them, they seek better- i.e. living in excellence. #DrHisham
