Stop anthropomorphizing dogs.....just stop. More than people letting their kids climb on them, more than people mistreating them, more than improper socialization.....I would say the number one reason dogs bite and at times viciously attack is this very dangerous concept of anthropomorphism. Dogs are not furry people. They do not understand right from wrong. They have no concept of morality or ethics.... They are animals. With self-preservation instincts. They are predatory creatures with prey drive instincts. That video of the dog splashing water on a dying fish.... Was it cute? Yeah. Was it trying to save the fish? Um, no.
