Stop interrupting me. I just said that. No explanation needed. - Practice saying these sentences women friends, acquaintances and other! Now I know that I do talk a lot. But I definitely experience being interrupted when around men. That said, I often talk back over them to finish what I was saying and am quite forward in doing so. But it often means that I end up viewed as an overly aggressive and dominant female. I know this because Ive been told I should, let them have their say because everyone has the right to be heard. Even though Im comfortable (though not always by any means) making my voice heard, many other women arent. And why should they be heard less just because they arent as assertive? Thats right, they shouldnt. Even so, can all women please try and make your voice heard? I like hearing what you have to say (even if I disagree) and the world would greatly benefit from it.
