Stop the madness! [Major spoilers of The Red Tent, Game of Thrones and Hell on Wheels in this post so beware] Okay, so I was watching The Red Tent the other night (no, Im not caught up on SoA - and have managed to avoid spoilers, thank goodness). Im just lying there, taking it all in, pleased as punch when a hottie hits the screen, all dark hair, pointy beard and smoldering eyes. Hes sweet, talking about lotus flowers and giving gifts and going back to the market to buy our Dinah the shawl she liked. I knew shizzle would happen when the two psycho brothers got all ticked but seriously? Seriously?!?! Did they have to slit the guys throat!?!?!!!! I know its biblical but COME ON! I was instantly catapulted back to when Drogo bit it in Game of Thrones. It took me WEEKS to recover from that and I had to write a whole freaking book to do it! I mean, whats happening, people? Are no hot guys safe? Drogo bites it. Elam from Hell on Wheels goes loco and then he bites it. Now Shalem is in a pool of his own blood on satin sheets when he bites it. Thank God for romance novels with happy endings. Sheesh. I may stop watching television shows with hot guys altogether. This is why Im not caught up on SoA. I know heartbreak awaits so Im gearing up for devastation (DONT SAY ANYTHING!). Ugh. Back to something I know will have an HEA. Going through the proofs of AT PEACE to get it ready for print. Rock on!
