Stop trying to take my gun! being screamed while the man clearly held his hands above his head. These videos kept this man from going to prison, and had the badges taken from the cops involved. Dash-cams should be installed in all police vehicles, not just cruisers. The militaristic police forces in this country have become too extreme, and evidence of this comes in this video, and in the NYPD over the last few weeks. Due to the protests within the NYPD against New Yorks mayor, arrests in the city have dropped by 2/3, ( theatlantic/national/archive/2014/12/the-benefits-of-fewer-nypd-arrests/384126/ )The police are only focusing on high-profile crimes. This is evidence that the majority of arrests in our citys are unnecessary in keeping our people safe, but are only made to create revenue for the city or town. Whether it be money through court fees, fines, etc., the city makes a profit. By losing revenue usually raised by the police, the NYPD can force the mayor out of office. Who would have thought our police are as powerful as lobbyists. #profitoverpeople #americanscheme
