Loving step-father to Marsha and Mavis (Mike Nott). Dear son of the late Fred and Annie Stopes. Dear brother of the late James Stopes (late Yvette). Special Uncle to Jamie, Anna Lynn (Trevor), Tom, Mark (Linda) and Kevin. Ernie will be sadly missed by the Maitland family. Special Grandfather to Derek Nott, Shivon VanDerGulik (Adam), Shelbi Sanderson and Rebecka Scott and Great Grandpa to 4. Friends may call at the Anglican Church of the Redeemer, Thessalon on Saturday October 19, 2013 from 1pm until time of service at 2 o’clock with the Reverend Roberta Wilson-Garrett officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Church of the Redeemer gratefully accepted.
