Stopped and saw a bit of the Salmon Spawn, too .. I had no idea they travelled this far inland to spawn, always figured they stopped way closer to the coast to lay their eggs. Brilliant Red bodies with gray heads ... their purpose is awesome, but the stench along the river with the myriads of dead bodies is also pretty overwhelming ...
