Storage and Handling Supervisor-MUTARE $ Negotiable The Storage and Handling Supervisor is responsible for making sure that all depot stocks are correctly and properly accounted for at the depot. This role supervises the yard operations making sure that all the activities are done in a safe manner. Daily reconciliation of stock figures and compilation of stock templates for management. Highlight excess stock losses to management and give initiatives to minimise company exposure. Continuous improvement of stock management processes, systems and procedures acting as Audit’s advance party. Ensuring that product losses are within tolerance and those out of tolerance are investigated and adequately explained. Also making sure all in-transit stocks including inter-depot movements are cleared. – Being Audits advance party. Maintain the bond book to the satisfaction of the Government Inspectors and closely liaise with Supply. Supervises depot operations making sure that procedures are adhered to when loading and offloading products in the depot. Gives assurance on the depot routine day to day maintenance of the depot equipment. Enforcement of Company HSE requirements to Contract Transporters and report serious deviations to management for actioning. Promote actions and decisions that prevent accidents, harm to people and damage to the environment to Yard personnel. KEY SKILL At least three years’ experience in stock and/or operations management.
