Storm Outlook Discussion *Brief Mix (possible) & Freezing Rain Changing Plain Rain Saturday* Wanted to pass an early morning update....that some light front-running precip is looking more likely. With temps at dawn Saturday between 25 - 30 degrees, theres certainly a concern for some freezing rain--perhaps a brief period of light mix--across the area. This light icy precip will first arrive in Franklin county, probably between 4am - 7am, then spread northeast across the rest of D-8 between 6am - 10am. Steadier rain will develop during the midday to mid afternoon at which time temps will be near 32 degrees...and likely rise above 32 by late afternoon. Consequently, just plain rain will fall Saturday night as temps rise toward 40 by dawn Sunday. Periods of rain will taper off Sunday midday with highs near 50 degrees. Colder air will filter back into the region Sunday night, and some flurries or snow showers are possible Monday afternoon into Tuesday as an Arctic front arrives.
