Storm Outlook Discussion * Next Storm Arrives Late Sunday * Last nights storm panned out pretty much as expected, and currently theres only lingering drizzle and a few snow showers across the region. A trailing upper-level system will kick up some additional snow showers later this morning into mid- afternoon, but with temps in the mid 30s it will be hard to accumulate more than a slushy coating to 1 in spots. Best chance of seeing an inch is the higher terrain locations and areas east of I-83. All lingering snow showers will exit to the East between 11:00am (west of river) and 3:00pm (east of river). Otherwise, a breeze will develop and the sun may even peek out at spots. Temps tonight will dip just a few degrees (26 - 32) with partly cloudy skies and perhaps some fog. Any sun early Sunday will fade behind increasing clouds and the next clipper will arrive in the evening. Theres still uncertainty how much Atlantic moisture will be tapped early Monday. But expect light snow to spread from west to east across between 5pm and 10pm Sunday. Temps will initially be just above freezing, but fall throughout the night and all day Monday. So periods of snow will become drier and begin to blow late Sunday night and Monday....and a few inches is quite possible. Temps will fall into the 20s Sunday night and teens by late afternoon Monday, as snow ending sometime during the daylight hours.
