Storm threat gradually increases later tonight as thunderstorms back in the Midwest develop and move south towards northern and central West Virginia. Lows tonight will be warmer, generally in the upper 50s. Showers, few storms exit early Wednesday, then return later in the afternoon as a cold front moves in from the northwest. Some of the storms Wednesday could be strong, main threat would be strong wind gusts, along with brief heavy rain, small hail and lightning. Highs for the middle of the week around 80 degrees. Showers end early Thursday as the front moves south. Dry and cooler for the afternoon, highs in the middle 70s. Even cooler Friday, highs in the lower 70s with a small shower chance. Memorial Day weekend right now looking good. Generally dry Saturday through Monday with a slow increase in temperatures and humidity. Highs in the middle to upper 70s over the weekend, with Monday back into the lower 80s. There is a small chance of a pop up storm over the mountains Monday, more likely Tuesday.
