StormTrack 9: The most frequently asked question today...Is it going to stay warm like this throughout December?.....My answer...No, because colder air is coming back soon. It should be quite mild tonight with clouds and fog and temperatures only dropping to the upper 50s and low 60s. Thursday looks warm again with a cloudy sky and highs nearing 70. Mainly some scattered showers Thursday, but the better coverage can be expected Thursday night and Friday. Friday begins unseasonably warm again with 60s, but cools to the 50s with rain during the afternoon. Rain tapers off late Friday night with upper 30s to near 40. We should get a temporary break in the rain Saturday. But, it will finally be colder with highs only in the 40s under a cloud sky. Rain returns late Saturday night and into Sunday. Rainfall could be heavy at times Sunday and Sunday night with highs on Sunday in the low 50s. Rain tapers off late Monday afternoon as much colder air rushes in. Cold wintry temperatures return for most of next week with lows by Tuesday morning in the 20s and highs only in the 30s. So, if you like warm weather, you had better enjoy it through Thursday!...(David)
