Story #866 Anonymous DONT LET THEM GET ME My friend told me how his cousin died. I wish he told me sooner like before the dude died. Ill try to repeat what he said best I can. Anyways, my friend Ill call Joey told me that his cousin Jessie use to dance on the powwow circuit and do the rave scene on his time off. He use to be a good athlete in school, dated any girl he wanted, and worked part-time for his tribe. I told him that raving wasnt a good idea because I know what goes on at those parties. Man, its really weird. Joey said, Yeah, I know. Joey said Jessie told him that if he ever dies its because they took him. Joey asked who they were. Jessie said that he started having dreams that seemed cool at first. He saw big chiefs wearing headdresses playing hand drums and passing around the pipe. Then they turned into eagles and would fly away. I said cool, whats wrong with that? Joey said Jessie would see them, theyd visit him but then theyd turn into eagles and start feeding on him like he was a fish or mouse. Hed wake up with scratches on him where they bit on him. I thought Jessie was tripping on some rave crap. Joey said when he last saw Jessie, he told him that they were coming for him. He said they were monsters who knew everything he did and they were going to take him away. The day Jessie died, his mom (Joeys aunt) said Jessie was screaming, Theyre coming! Oh f***! They are coming, Mom! Dont let them get me! Dont let them take me! No! NO! and he had a heart attack and fell dead on the floor. The autopsy report said cardiac arrest but Jessies mom thinks something scared him to death. Something she couldnt see or protect him from. Jessies funeral was closed casket. I didnt know why but Joey told me. Blood kept seeping from Jessies eyes, ears, and mouth. I said isnt the morgue suppose to drain all the fluids out? Joey said they did but it was like something was still attacking Jessies body even after he was dead. Scratches appeared on his face and hands. It was too much for his mom and relatives to see him like that so they had the casket sealed. A medicine man did a departing ceremony for Jessies spirit. The medicine man said that he saw what took Jessie away. He called it an Army. They wanted him. I dont understand it but I believe it because now theyre after Joey.
