Story Line...The old driver pulled into the driveway late that evening after spending the week moving his rig up and down the California coastline picking up and delivering freight...As he unlocked the front door, he heard an familiar click of the metal action of a gun being cocked just behind the door...Not hesitating, he kicked the door open, knocking the intruder to the floor and impaling him with the 14 inch kabar to the kitchen floor...Screaming in pain the intruder reached for the pistol that had landed just out of arms reach where it had clattered and skidded to a halt when he had lost his grip on it...Calmly stepping over the growing pool of blood which was coming from the gaping shoulder wound where the wicked looking knife was sticking out of, the old man reached down and deftly pulled the knife out and looked into the eyes of the quivering intruder...In a matter of fact tone, he calmy informed the would be assassin that if any more Jehova Witnesses wanted to profess their faith to him, let them knock on the door like everyone else! to be continued...
