Story by anonymous This story I heard from a family member a couple of years ago. Location: North Edinburg (redgate) My grandfather passed April 1980 and the story took place exactly a year later to the date. The story goes one day some friends of the family that were coming to valley from out of town stopped by to visit with my grandparents and found that no one was home, so they made their way back to the vehicle. ( the house sits about 75yds off 281 w a shed/techito about 25 yds in to the right) From behind the house someone calls out and its my grandfather, they hold a brief conversation and go about their way saying they will return on the way back out to visit with my grandmother. My grandfather acknowledges the gesture. A couple of days pass and they make their stop like they say they would. In conversation with my grandmother they ask where my grandfather is at and with a shocked look on her face, she informs them that he passed a year ago. In complete confusion they tell her that they just spoke with him when they arrived. When the dates were compared it was exactly his 1 year anniversary.
