Story-line of a historical evening. Shackles were broken, lives were touched as the presence of God descended on the Strauss Hall. We were blessed by anointed individuals with talents given to them by our heavenly Father. It was a amazing. have a look at what God has put together on the evening. The evening has a subdued start to it as people started filling the seats from 17:30. Performing Artists: Valley Church Worship Team (VCWT) D.O.E.P El Shaddai Trevino Smith Jesus Is The Answer John Andrew Witbooi Chosen Ones Jonathan Rubain VCWT was the in-house band that got the audience on their feet and into the spirit of praise and Worship D.O.E.P got the energy going with his poetic raps filled with lyrics inspired by the Word of God El Shaddai blessed us with an intense spritual dance which got the audience to be still and know the He is God. It moved every soul in the hall. Eyes were closed, arms aloft and heads raised to the heavens as we took in His calming presence. Trevino Smith underlined the diverse lineup of artist as he serenaded the audience with his acoustic guitar and smooth voice as he sang beautiful love songs of thanks and praise to the God of love. His ministry was much appreciated by the normally traditional gospel crowd. Jesus Is The Answer got us all running in circles as the energy levels was lifted again. No body was left unmoved as young and old got up and praised like never before. The bar was lifted once again and we enjoyed the fellowship that filled the hall. Then the moment of the evening. 16 year old John Andrew Witbooi had everybody in awe of his gifts and talents. He sang with passion and ministered with maturity. He gave hope to mothers and fathers that the youth are not all that lost. It was awesome. Bar even higher and the main act was not even close Chosen Ones painted their faces and had us wondering what the robes is about. As the sound came and the mimes started to minister, we were all on our feet as the words used in this act stung the heart and gave food for thought. Never have I seen The Spirit so moved by a miming act. It was so intense it moved Ricardo to testify on how God changed his life. A fitting testimony on how God can break chains. And Then... The stage was suitably set for the main act.... Jonathan Rubain!! The crowds anticipation was overwhelming. They welcomed him with the The Spirit that was overflowing in every soul in the room and he did not disappoint. The anointed artist and professional served us just what we needed, old school koortjies like Thank you Lord for your blessing on me. Then he called up the highlight of the eveing, he blessed John Andrew Witbooi as he called him up to share the stage. Tears were flowing as people witnessed an historic moment, an established artist sowing into the life of an aspiring artist. How Great Is Our GOD!!! At the end it was all POENANKIES!!!!
