Story of the Week: Last Wednesday we went to a school in Bello Amanecer, which is a new plastic community and because it was raining we had to go to plan B. Which was going to a school and doing a skit, story, craft and prayer in each room. The last class room we went to we did the salvation bracelet with the different colored beads representing different stages of following Jesus. There was a boy, I remember his face so well, and he had such a desire to learn. To learn about Jesus and what these beads mean. While someone was explaining and asking what each bead meant, I kneeled in front of his desk and talked to him about sin, and what that actually means and about growing and how to do that and the streets of gold in heaven. After we finished making the bracelets and I tied it to his wrist, Kendra, the missionary leading, asked who would like to accept Jesus in their life and he raised his hand. I cant tell you his name or even his grade, but I cant forget his face when Im praying for Nicaragua. I wouldnt be surprised if I see him again working on the missions field.
