Story of the Week: On Sunday night we did a church service and it was incredibly evident that God was there from the beginning of the service. For the alter call, I was praying for the women who had come to the front and there was one elderly woman who I wrapped my arms around and began to pray that God would show her how precious and beautiful she was to Him, she began to cry and weep, when I stopped praying, she gave me a huge hug and we cried together with her head in my shoulder. She then asked me to pray for the little boy obediently sitting in the chair next to her. I knelt down and told this adorable 5-year old that I was going to pray for him. He stood up and grabbed the precious hand of his grandmother. As I was praying, God began to show me how powerfully He would use this little boy, Josué, to further His kingdom. I can still see images of this little boy leading large groups of people as a man. When I finished praying, I was going to tell the grandmother, Marta, but she turned to me and said, Gods going to use him in mighty ways, isnt He? All I could do was nod and smile.
