Jesus annointed at Bethany - Mk 14:3-9 / Mt 26:6-13 / Jn 12:1-11 Mk 14:3-..Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy....a woman came in with ...expensive perfume....and poured the perfume over his head.... Mt26:11-13...You will always have the poor among you, but you will no always have me. She has poured this perfume on me to prepare my body for burial...this womans deed will be remembered and discussed. Jn 12:1-3 Six days before the Passover...Jesus arrived in Bethany, the home of lazarus--the man he h aised from the dead....Then Mary took a twelve-ounce jar of expensive perfume...annointed Jesus feet...wiping his feet with her hair.. The Trumphal entry - Mk 11:1-11 / Mt 21:1-11 / Lk 19:28-40 / Jn 12:12-19 Jesus weeps over Jerusalem - Lk 19:41-44 Lk 19:44 ...because you did not accept your opportunity for salvation. Jn 12:23-24 Jesus replied, Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its deat will produce many new kernels --a plentiful harvest of new lives. Jn 12:28-34..a voice spoke from heaven...I have already brought glory to my name.....When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.....The crowd...we understood from Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. Ho can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is the Son of Man, anyway?
