Strabane District Council – New Visual Arts Strategy Consultation – Thursday 2nd October On Thursday 2nd October Strabane District Council will hosting an open meeting to inform the development of a new Visual Arts Strategy for the Derry City and Strabane District Council area. Mr John Adamson (Strategic Adviser with the Strategic Investment Board Ltd.) has been tasked by Derry City Council and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to develop this strategy. It is envisaged that, upon completion & approval, this strategy will be taken forward by the new Derry City and Strabane District Council. John Adamson will present an initial draft of this strategic document on Thursday 2nd October @ 11am in Room 5 of Strabane Community Library. This meeting will be open to artists and interested parties from across Strabane District.
