Straight Shooting....On Common Core! With the support of educators and parents alike, and through much prayer and the favor of the Lord, Josh was able to lead the repeal of Common Core in Oklahoma—which was brought into our state six months PRIOR to Joshs election to office. Common Core and TLE were both mandated in Senate Bill 2033 and that bill was signed into law by former Governor Brad Henry in May of 2010, while Josh was not elected until November of 2010. Josh never voted for Common Core and the suggestion by some that because Josh voted to appropriate funds to the common education budget in the annual appropriations bill means he supported Common Core, is misrepresenting the truth.
