The big-serving 22-year-old will provide an entirely different test for the world number two after his clash with Verdasco and the head-to-head between the pair shows them level at one-apiece, but both of those matches were on hard courts and Murray’s movement on grass should ensure he progresses relatively smoothly. Boylesports price the second seed at 6/5 to prevail in straight sets and it’s 14/5 at Sportingbet for a 3-1 success. In the other semi-final, Novak Djokovic, Sportingbet’s tournament favourite at 3/4, locks horns with Juan Martin del Potro and the world number one is 1/7 via Betfred to get the better of the 2009 US Open champion (11/2, bet365). The 24-year-old Argentine comfortably saw off David Ferrer despite suffering a knee injury so he certainly poses a threat provided his fitness holds out but Djokovic is likely to be just too strong and Ladbrokes chalk him up at 10/11 to win without dropping a set.
